Dame-de-Mort

Now, I'm not up and leaving, before you all think I'm jumping ship! I'm just going through a bit of a name change, well sort of. My new username is , so please take a look in the coming weeks as I'll be adding new work to that gallery. This account will become a way of showing where I've developed my style from and will be where I am now and onwards from that point. I feel that some of the work on this account isn't really me anymore, but I still want it around to show where I am now as an artist and person. Sooooo, I'll still be using this account (for friends and the like ^_^) but my work will be posted at the other one. Make sense?

This account won't be disappearing (I'm pathetic enough that I hate the thought of losing my pagviews, watchers, favourites and comments), so I'll still be around, just as as well as .

It's been ages since my last entry, sorry for that. Life keep getting very hectic at the most inappropriate times *rolls eyes*

Anyway, no news really, apart from I'm being published! Got the news a while ago, but haven't had a chance to post here yet. I'm going to be in an anthology of adult poets; my entry to a poetry competition got through ^_^ Soooo, it'll be out November 30th, and I couldn't be more excited! I might post a pic of the cover when I get it.

Does anyone have any chocolate left? I think my brother has two eggs left to go through, then he's done; he's like a chocolate hoover, no scrap of it is safe ^_^

What's everyone been up to over the holiday? Me and mine went to the zoo on the bank holiday, I got some good photos (which I'll upload soon). I loved the orang utans, they were on form when we went, almost like they were posing for the cameras. I was quite pleased.

I'm also starting to notice a grey theme in my work. My last three pieces have been grey-scale; I wonder if that means anything, lol. My work at college has been the same too. Oh well, maybe I'm going through a grey period instead of Picasso's blue

On another, less fun, note, I'm in the middle of a new Art History assignment; an essay on the use of colour in art. I never really realised how many uses it could have. I've narrowed in down to about six so far, from historic references to atmospheric effect. It's as hard as I thought it'd be, but hopefully I'll get a good mark. We then have to compose a presentation on the subject of our essays for the entire class. Yay!   I never realised people my age could strike the fear of god into me; presentations are the work of the devil, I've never liked them. I'm really not looking forward to it.

Well, I've been pretty ill for the last two weeks. But, last Thursday things really came to a head; I was rushed to Hospital via Ambulance (and two of the most wonderful paramedics ever, Chris and Linda), suffering from severe dehydration and organ shut-down. Fun, huh?

I'm out now, got out Saturday afternoon-ish. I'm weak, tired and feel pretty much dead. BUT, I'm home and off my drips which is always a good thing in my book. I've got bruises all up my right arm from all the attempts they made to get a cannula into me, which hurt like hell.

So, I'm not gonna be very active on here for a while. No college until I'm stronger, whenever that will be.
I'll hopefully be around soon.
